Communication channels

Alarm Front Monitoring is able to receive alarms and event notification using multiple communication channels

Multiple GSM Modems

Alarm Front Monitoring supports multiple GSM modems at the same time. Multiple modems can be used to process different types of operations for better performance. For example, the first modem may process voice calls and messages to arm objects, the other modem to disarm them, the third modem to receive alarm calls and other events, and the fourth modem to control availability of remote objects.
The system processes events and alarms sent by secured objects, send commands and dispatch notifications to the clients.

Alarm Front Monitoring supports RS-232 and RS-485 protocols to communicate with common hardware alarm receivers.

TCP/IP (GPRS)

Alarm Front Monitoring can receive messages from LAN/WAN/VLAN directly without using hardware alarm receivers. This can reduce expenses for phone calls and messages.
